The next day, his task complete, Oleg presented himself to King Nord. “Your majesty, I put the serfs in the knight’s quarters. They’ve been bathed, fed, and are all excited and ready to meet the princess.”

Nord steepled his fingers and nodded. “Good, good. Thank you, Oleg, for your quick work. Don’t worry, I promised you that you’d be first, and I will honor that promise. Will you be ready tomorrow to meet your possible future bride?”

Oleg bowed. He hid a smile because he didn’t want the king to know how eager he was to win the princess’s hand. “Yes, sire. I am ready. Has the princess been told?”

“Her stepmother is informing her as we speak. Snow is a very stubborn woman, and I am hoping she does not give the queen any trouble.” Agnetha had promised to break it to her gently and point out all the advantages.

“I agree, sire. I am very anxious to meet the princess and hopefully seal our fate as lovers, and husband and wife.” While he and Snow knew each other as acquaintances as she shadowed her father as his heir, they did not know each other as they would come to shortly.

“Well, then, Oleg, we will expect you for the midday meal, and you may take her to bed afterwards.”

Oleg’s cock rose with excitement. Only a few more hours and the princess and the kingdom would be his forever.
